Twitter has recently announced a collaboration with four marketplaces to enable users to directly buy, trade, and display NFTs through tweets. The integration, known as NFT Tweet Tiles, places an NFT's artwork in its own panel within a tweet and adds a button that directs users to a listing on a marketplace.

Currently, the integration—which is still under testing—works with four different marketplaces: Solana-based Magic Eden, NFT marketplace protocol, Rarible, Dapper Labs, the company that developed the Flow blockchain, and Jump.trade, a sports-focused marketplace. These markets together span numerous blockchain networks, including Tezos, Immutable X, Solana, Flow, Polygon, and Ethereum.

The functionality is blockchain-agnostic, according to a Twitter official, meaning all networks are enabled as long as the links come from a marketplace that has partnered with Twitter. The representative further stated that the "feature is now being tested with select Twitter users across iOS and web," adding that those who are part of the test group will see the NFT Tweet Tile integration. The functionality may be used without a Twitter Blue premium subscription.

Through its Twitter Blue membership service, Twitter has previously announced support for NFTs as verified profile images; however, it currently only accepts Ethereum NFTs.
