‘Daily Photos’ is a collection of photographs of Kezia Barnett taken every day since 1997. To celebrate the project’s 25th Birthday Kezia will release her very first Daily Photo (1 February 1997) as an NFT edition of 25. Then randomly selected images from the collection will be released. See thekezialibrary.com, IG@thekezialibrary.Before digital cameras, social media, widespread use of internet or cellphones, Kezia began taking daily photos of where she is, who she is with, what she is doing. Proto-selfies. Started in Kezia’s last year of Elam Art School, in an analogue age, the project documents: evolving zeitgeist, fashion, technology and changing ideas of self portrait. The first 10 years were taken on 35 mm film, subsequently digital. As far as we know this is the longest running Daily Photo Self Portrait project – in a world now inundated with ‘selfies’. You could call it endurance art. Kezia still takes Daily Photos and is currently excavating this sizeable collection.

Spontaneous and documentary in nature, The Kezia Arcade is a collection of photographs of people, places and details. The finished images are stylised and cinematic. An ongoing collection of 1/1's.
