Decentraland Film Club Contest is Back

Decentraland Foundation is running a new video contest for an opportunity to win a virtual land and $MANNA token. 

Following Facebook’s announcement last year on re-branding to Meta, a subsequent plunge into the metaverse has occurred, and virtual-reality protocol Decentraland has been on the rise since then. 

The Decentraland community is considered to be one of the most inventive and creative ones out there; and now they are called for a Film Club Contest for a chance to win a land as well as $MANNA tokens. 

“Create a video that is no longer than 30 seconds and showcase what you love most about Decentraland. It must be safe for work and feature in-world footage. If you’re a story-teller, feel free to create a narrative for it. You may use whatever tools, scripts, models, images or audio you please (be mindful of copyrighted material and obtain usage rights when needed!). The only condition is the video must be directly related to Decentraland,” Decentraland team reported. 

The first place winner will receive a virtual land and 600 $MANA tokens, while the remaining 9 finalists will receive $MANA and wearable gifts.

Submissions will be open from January 14th until 00:00 UTC on February 4th, 2022, and will be shown at #DCLfilmclub as part of the Decentraland 2nd Birthday Party on February 20th.
