Hyundai to Launch First-Ever Automaker NFTs
Hyundai Motor will become the first manufacturer to enter the community-based NFT market With the release of a short video unveiling its NFT world, 'Metamobility Universe,' which reflects the 'Metamobility' theme introduced at CES 2022.
Hyundai Motor is the first carmaker to enter the NFT market with its own NFT community, which includes a dedicated website, Discord, and Twitter channels. By sharing NFTs illustrating Hyundai mobility solutions, the Hyundai NFT community will provide its consumers with a metaverse experience of the Hyundai brand. On April 15, the Hyundai NFT Discord and Twitter channels went live, and the official NFT website is set to launch in May.
"The Hyundai NFT Universe will extend the Hyundai brand experience, especially with MZ generation, in a completely new way, further reinforcing our commitment to innovation in both the real world and in the metaverse," said Thomas Schemera, Hyundai Motor's Global Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Customer Experience Division. "We are extremely excited to introduce 'Metamobility' through our own NFTs and start this journey with 'Meta Kongz'."
Hyundai will manage the asset value of its NFTs by offering dedicated channels for the Hyundai NFT community. The web platforms will provide a 24/7 communication channel between the company and community members, as well as real-time updates on the asset value of the company's NFTs.
On April 20, Hyundai Motor will release 30 limited edition 'Hyundai x Meta Kongz' NFTs to honor the film's release. Hyundai NFT projects will continue to be implemented throughout the year in order to grow the Hyundai NFT Universe. Profits from Hyundai NFT sales will go to the project's management and community members.
