MetaENGINE Closes a $4M Seed Round co-led by Lemniscap and Jump Crypto
MetaENGINE, a Web 3 gaming platform, announced on Friday that it had raised $4 million in seed funding.
The round was co-led by venture capital (VC) firms Lemniscap and Jump Crypto, notwithstanding the participation of Polygon Studios, Blockwall, blufolio, Insignius Capital, Future Fund, CoinDCX Ventures, Efficient Frontier, Maelstrom, and other leading VC funds and angel investors.
In fact, MetaENGINE will be a platform that allows GameFi developers to enter the sector by providing tools for creating metaverse gaming experiences.
“MetaENGINE is using the funding to become the core of future metaverse experiences” said Alex Shalash, MetaENGINE CEO and co-founder. He further added, “GameFi is how to push the ownership of games and game assets down to the players so they become the future owners of the IP itself.
According to Shalahs, metaENGINE is built on the Polygon Network due to its efficiency and low gas fees. He stated that the company's long-term goal is to provide multi-chain solutions across other prominent networks.”
