OpenSea NFT Marketplace is Now Accepting ApeCoin

ApeCoin, the Ethereum-based governance token utilized in the BAYC ecosystem, has surged in value over the last seven days. 

While we wait for Yuga Labs to release the much-anticipated Otherside land drop, OpenSea has announced that it now accepts ApeCoin. APE joins a select group of coins that can be used with OpenSea. ETH, WETH, SOL, USDC, and DAI are among the coins on the list.

According to data gathered by CoinMarketCap, ApeCoin has gained 1.3 percent in the previous 24 hours and more than 33 percent in the last week.

Besides that, ‘Otherside’ is a metaverse gaming environment that features a number of projects, including the Bored Apes, CryptoPunks, Meebits, and Cool Cats, and was created in collaboration with the NFT game publisher Animoca Brands.

Yuga Labs also aims to launch "Otherdeed" NFTs, which are thought to be comparable to those used by The Sandbox and Decentraland to represent virtual land ownership. Other deeds will be available for public purchase and given to owners of Bored Ape and Mutant Ape.
