Zombie CryptoPunk #7756 Was Sold for $3.2 Million

CryptoPunk #7756 was collected for 1050 ETH from an undisclosed NFT collector. The unknown buyer paid around $3.2 million for this rare 24 × 24 zombie CryptoPunk at the time of sale.

Although we don't know who purchased CryptoPunk #7756, OpenSea data indicates that the NFT was sold on April 13th and went from the account "Cry" to the address "362CD3." The last time CryptoPunk #7756 was sold on OpenSea for 27 ETH was two years ago.

CryptoPunk #7756 is a member of the exclusive "zombie club," as stated in the introduction. Zombies aren't as common as apes or aliens, but they only make up 0.8% of the CryptoPunks collection of 10,000. NFT collectors are usually willing to pay more for zombie, alien, or ape CryptoPunks regardless of other characteristics.

Despite the fact that this $3.2 million sale is significant, it pales in comparison to Deepak's $23 million acquisition of CryptoPunk #5822. To date, CryptoPunk #5822 is by far the highest selling of a single CryptoPunk NFT.

The current floor price for one CryptoPunk NFT, according to Larva Labs' official CryptoPunks marketplace, is 63.69 ETH (about $195,000).
